In this session, you will learn about the tools, techniques, and steps necessary to build a brand new, headless WordPress site. Jason and Kellen will start from scratch and show you how they build headless WordPress sites.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll have your very own, completely functional, headless WordPress site! Kellen and Jason will use their time to code the application right in front of you. The final product will be a blog page with a blog roll along with templates for the blog page, a single blog post, a category index, and a search page. They will use NextJS to set up their local environment and you will see how they configure Apollo. Towards the end, they will use more advanced GraphQL features such as fragments and variables.
