Adventures in Large Scale Asset Management

What happens when you need to publish or remove the same content from 20+ WordPress multi-site domains while managing the visibility of the content with different rules on each site and processing triggers around that content? In our case, we built a hybrid system leveraging the best of Laravel and WordPress to architect a system that handles terabytes of public and private assets without skipping a beat.

In this talk, we will discuss what drove our choices during the architecture and building phases of a project with large-scale asset management. We will discuss how it evolved as we built it and what we learned from our adventures.
