Headless WooCommerce

After several years of preparing large sites with popular eCommerce systems for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we got sick of the headache and started experimenting and found a better approach.

Just like running WordPress as a headless CMS allows increased flexibility and creativity in the presentation of websites, a headless WooCommerce implementation allows eCommerce transactions to operate at higher scale.

In this session, we will discuss ideal situations in which one might want to take this approach, the different methods to achieve scale and the benefits and tradeoffs related to these approaches. In addition, we will discuss how to use Siege, Blitz.io, and other automated testing systems to benchmark this approach compared to conventional WooCommerce implementations.
