Marieke van de Rakt is the Head of Strategy at Yoast. Up until 2021, she was co-owner and CEO of Yoast. In 2021, they sold Yoast to Newfold Digital.

She also has a Ph.D. in Social Sciences and is one of the partners of Altha, an investment company. They have invested in multiple WordPress businesses and are always looking for new potential investments.
